Abstract

This article presents the elaboration and implementation experience of a videogame called: facingchallenges, a conquest of my dreams as an instrument that it helps in the intervention and strengthening of coexistence problems, from the need to working aspects of taking care of itself like; respect, discipline, good health, leadership, self-esteem in ninth degree students of the School Hugo Ángel Jaramillo, located in Pereira city, the neighborhood Parque Industrial, specifically in Malaga´s sector. These students are members of dysfunctional families even with a tough context.

The videogame allows that student faces several challenges related to watching videos, to analyzing text, reflections and production of mental schemes to generating a re-definition in the notion of categories involved with the taking care of itself to achieving, through of a pre-test and pos-test application, important conclusions like to understand different categories of taking care of itself, not just from the individuality otherwise like an special component of the coexistence within collective.
