Abstract

Coastal borders by tradition have always had a vocation as a port and public space, in addition to their landscape and environmental characteristics; they generate the attraction of people to appreciate their natural beauty. Buenaventura is no exception, it is a port city located on the Pacific coast and due to its strategic position, in front of the Pacific Ocean, this generated a serious problem, all its bodies of water or estuaries are covered by informal settlements of ports, factories and houses, generating a great affectation to its bodies of water and its ecosystem. Due to this, it is a port that when traveling through its urban area, the sea, which is its strength, is not seen.
