This essay intends to show how objects include many aspects that are involved in different spheres and have to be taken in account in order to make interpretations of context and to be able to relate it with users or culture. Artifacts offer the possibility to comprehend a series of relations that are present on a daily basis, because not only do objects have the capacity to express themselves, they, at the same time, also help interpret connections between other objects, contexts and the particular way in which every user identifies with them, gives them a meaning and turns them into an extension of their own personality, context and desires. In this way, not only a pragmatic function, but also the capacity to transform into communication media are conferred upon artifacts.
