Today's world, rapidly changing and realm of technological innovation in the different social spheres and natural environments, is inherent to the information and digital age, knowledge, virtuality and satellite communications.

This "overwhelming" process that impacts different life styles and human culture, has transfonned social relations, the settings of cities, regions and markets. The farm-city and rural-urban duality, has redefined the values, ideáis and citizens principies, particularly in the way of thinking, theorizing and making architecture.

Consistent with the "new era", architecture takes advantage of the stock of technology in the digital age for re-thinking ánd re-making itself; this is how Picon (2006) notice that in the case of architectural production, including the full spectrum of images to systems hosted in the web - virtuality seems to accentuate the dematerialization, which openly opposes virtual reality and real reality.
