Fast prototyping workstation in Catholic university of Pereira

Abstract

This article presents the design and implementation history of a workstation for quick prototyping machine didactic which aims to improve the design process of Industrial Design program at the Catholic University of Pereira (UCP), giving the possibility to understand, analysis and production of prototypes using this technology. Thus, arises the development of the workstation where the prototyping machine will work from the context and facilities that the UCP needs to have this type of technology implementations also in the way they would be exposed to the public interested in these items.
