Attention deficit with hyperactivity (ADHD) is a disorder with brain changes (disturbances), not only cognitive, but affective alterations, as well as motivation and emotional. It is known that people’s brain with ADHD doesn’t produce as much dopamine as someone without the disorder. The intention of this review article is to collect research made about neurobiological alterations of dopamine that underlie in the motivation and emotional dysfunctions present by adults with ADHD, it is recognized the importance of semantic market in the understanding of hyperactivity.
