This article aims to expose an environmental problem that is happening in many parts of the country and the world: pollution caused by animal feces. The reasons why these wastes are considered contaminants and how they affect not only humans, soil, air and water, but also the animals themselves will be presented. The specific case of the Gamma neighborhood, Pereira, will be evident, where intolerance led to a threat of poisoning of different species.
