Design of manual tools for leather work

The process of manufacturing leather goods has not changed significantly with tha pass of the time; It is an artisanal process which basically made by hand, where the use of tools for different functions is also required, finding in the market quite a big variety of these kind of products, but lacking in ergonomics and design, causing that in most cases the artisans adapt them to their needs and tastes; therefore, a biomechanical and anthropometric analysis is designed to design appropriate tools for the activity in order to prevent physical fatigue, generate comfort and work comfort.
