Abstract

Interactive television brings new services which need interaction mechanisms different from remote control for allowing effective and simple access to the information.
Therefore, this document presents the analysis about the advantages and disadvantages the main interactivity devices used in a digital television environment have. Furthermore, this paper proposes a solution of Video on Demand service controlled through Voice over IP.
